Throughout the numerous places that I've visited over the years, my soul has often been humbled by the great forces of nature and my mind blown away by the immense physical presence and drama of wild natural surroundings.

Nature encompasses so much in itself; it is a large universe without boundaries. I often find the experience of the wild comparable to that of a religious or spiritual one. My journey’s, thus become travels of self-discovery which in return call out the teacher within myself.

The so-called "civilized" world has never made much sense to me whereas wilderness has always done just the opposite. It is a place that I can call home; like a secret sanctuary where I would find myself submerged in simplicity and primordial states of being.

Void from the artificial “noise” of today's complex and uninviting modern world, nature always seems to provide me with that essential balancing effect that so many of us search for through out our lives. Wild nature restores in me this contact with the magic of the earth and of life itself. In a way, I could say that the earth it is the most open-handed giver that I have ever known. Her generous gift continuously keep’s on inspiring my spirit long after I have left the scenery.

Today, I travel as much as time and family allows me to, searching for remote locations that trigger my creativity, trying to capture a personal vision of nature and express through imagery the endless dream that the wilderness represents in me.

This wonderful gift of nature's beauty is what I would like to share with you through my photographs.
